Fall Fest 09

Hey, what an awesome time. We had games, food, and some vomit!!!! Ok, the story behind that is this awesome game called "chug-a-lug". Each "volunteer" steps up and they race one another to see who can finish a two liter of soda first. You have two kinds of "volunteers". The first volunteer is the one that recognizes there limitations and stops at the point of no return. The second volunteer is the one that sees the point of no return, blasts through it, and then up-chucks all over the place! The saddest part is that everyone is standing around hoping that someone goes past that line.
Well, we weren't disappointed this year. Two of our students, including last years chug-a-lug champ, couldn't hold it down. What a night!!
All in all, it was a great evening filled with laughter, exploding apples, and donuts being eaten off the ground.

Thank you to all of the students that made the evening so memorable!

Impact

I am so proud of our students at Hempfield High School. I had a chance to speak at their Bible Club (Impact) Tuesday morning. I believe that there was over 20 students and 5 teachers present. How AWESOME is that. This being the first year of this specific club and it being held BEFORE school makes those numbers seem crazy!!! To see student after student coming in to pray together, hear the Word of God, and to get to know other people better is incredible.
I am so proud of Tori and Courtney for stepping it up and starting this club. I know that God brought other leaders their way as they started this process, but without them being obedient to God's leading they would have never found those other leaders!! Courtney really blew me away with how you could see each person in that room really looking to her for leadership. Way to go!! Everything was organized and well planned out. She even gave me the topic to talk about.
As a Youth Pastor I could not have been more proud!!! Thank you for blessing me!!!
