My Friday Night.

I just felt the need to share something that god has put in my life.
To start it all off, I have this friend. I am not going mention any names, but he is like a brother to me. He is not a christian, and he doesn't have it all too great family wise. But we are still such great friends. For a while now i have been trying to get him to come with me to church(ever since i started attending victory) and he always makes up excuses for him not to come. Well something happened last night. I was with him and a few more friends going on just a day beach trip to Rehoboth beach. The night before i prayed with my family for protection over us as we traveled there and back. Along with that morning of. We arrived there safely and had an AMAZING time! So around 8:30 we left to go home. 2 hours later we find out, we are lost, we took a wrong turn. He started freaking out, but we found out the way to get home. As we were on our way back to the rout to get home there was a driver that was pretty insane. The car went RIGHT in front of us and we had to swerve out of the way and right beside us was a hill that went into a big open field. We went down that hill and into that open field safely. If it wasnt for me and my one friend being on the one side of the car we would have flipped. After that happened I just prayed to god thanking him that we are all ok along with my friend sitting next to me. But then he starts to say "you know who that was? Kyle(his brother that he lost), he saved us, he is right here" and my heart broke hearing that, i never know that was how he thought. But i acted as if i didnt hear anything, it was so overwhelming at the time. But today he texted me, and we started talking about what happened last night. From that i said, "i know it may seem hard to believe me right now but it was god that was with us last night, he knew that was going to happen and provided an open field RIGHT beside us to drive into, he knew me and my friend would be on that side of the car so it doesnt flip" along with that i talked to him about the power of prayer, and how strong it truly is. Later then he told me, Tori, i want to start going to church i DO believe and i need to make it up to him. So I am now planning on taking him to church. And i know he truly wants to go, he is even asking to take off work to go. And i just am so happy right now. I just felt like sharing that, and how wonderful the power of prayer is.
